Dr. Becky Stewart-Gross, President and Founder of Building Bridges, is an author and sought-after trainer with a talent for showing others how to achieve their potential. She inspires, challenges, and motivates her clients.

For over twenty years, Becky has assisted family-owned businesses and corporations in enhancing their communication and leadership skills. She has helped couples and teams identify the best of each others' personality strengths using the INSIGHT Inventory. Using this personality assessment, Becky helps couples and team communicate and work more effectively with each other.

Becky's most recent co-authored book, Sleeping with Your Business Partner (2007), is a communication toolkit for couples in business together. She also authored The Leader's Communication Toolkit (2004) which focuses on how to select the right communication method in an electronic world. She contributed the lead chapter of Sales Training Solutions (2006), a resource written by eleven different sales trainers to help develop and implement successful sales training.

Becky is a member of the American Society of Training and Development as well as the National Speakers Association. She is a member of the Professional Society for Sales and Marketing Training, served on the board, and was editor of their newsletter. Becky was named a Finalist in the Best Sales Trainer category in the 2004 American Business Awards.

Becky earned her Ph.D. from Michigan State University in 1991 and completed The Program on Negotiation at Harvard University Law School. From 1987 to 1996 Becky served as an Associate Professor at Aquinas College and in 1996 she received the Michigan State University's Emerging Leaders Award.

Dr. Mike Gross

During his 30 year career working in private education, Mike served as an Assistant Professor at the College of St. Mary, the Chief Administrator for the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe School System, Superintendent of Catholic Schools in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and President of Notre Dame Academy, Green Bay, Wisconsin. Mike earned his Ed.D. from the University of Nebraska in 1976. He was active on numerous local, state, and national boards. During his career Mike developed expertise in the areas of Institutional Advancement, Strategic Planning, Marketing, and Finance.

After retiring from the school business, Mike joined Building Bridges and created the company's publishing division, Building Bridges Publishing. Mike splits his time between working with his wife building bridges to better communication and restoring antique British sports cars.
